L´Avenida, is located in Sóller, a lovely orange tree valley at the foot of the Sierra de Tramuntana mountains. It’s a romantic hotel where you can enjoy a wonderful holiday on the precious island of Majorca.

Our wonderful boutique hotel reflects a mix of contemporary and modern design features and the characteristics of a classical 20th-century building. Ornate ceilings, wooden beams, limestone arches and materials like marble, among others, blend in with leather furniture, carpets and wallpaper, all in an elegant and eclectic style not often seen.

Inside the building, the 12 individually decorated rooms of the hotel L'Avenida are spaciously laid out over three floors, presided by a striking marble and wrought iron staircase. Besides there is a cosy lobby bar, and a reception area, at your disposal 24 hours a day. However, the real gem of our hotel is the secluded courtyard garden. Perfect for cooling off in the pool, lounging and breathing in the fresh air of the surrounding mountains.

L'Avenida does not sell luxury, rather we give you exclusive service and personalised attention down to the smallest detail, in an elegant “adults-only” establishment.  

Gran Vía, an important early 20th century avenue from the expansion of Sóller, is one example of modernism in the city with the imposing history-filled ancestral homes. One of these magnificent buildings is the Magraner house, currently the location of L´Avenida, a singular work of modernism art commissioned by Joan Magraner and inaugurated in 1912, according to the inscription that can be seen on our facade.

Although it has not been possible to verify who the actual architect of this work was, there is much evidence indicating it was the work of Joan Rubió y Bellver, a Gaudí disciple and architect of other emblematic buildings such as Can Prunera and the Bank of Sóller. In an avant-garde style with French Art Nouveau and Catalan modernism nuances, the building where our establishment L’Avenida is located stands out because of the incredible main and interior facades featuring a mix of materials like Sóller limestone and wrought iron with plant motifs which are so typical of the modernist art movement.
